Owner, Tim Clark graduated from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill with a degree in Military History in 1994. Tim’s subsequent experience as a job supervisor for an electrical contractor and a site manager for Spectra-site building telecommunications towers created a natural progression into the home building industry. In 2005 Tim Clark assumed ownership of Collins Building and operated Collins Clark Construction until 2009 when Clark Carolina Construction was borne. Tim’s eye for detail, his straightforward attitude, and strict adherence to local codes and ordinances makes him one of the premiere builders in the Wilmington market. Tim is married to his beautiful wife Michelle Clark and resides in the Landfall Community.

Controller, Steve Swain joined the Clark Carolina Team in early 2009 after 15 years in the retail industry. Steve’s degree in Mathematics from Davidson College in 1992 and multiple ventures over the years has created a high level of business knowledge and understanding. Steve’s systematic and methodical approach to building homes in a cost effective manner brings additional equity to the value of the home from the 1st day you move in. Steve’s close relationship with David & Jason Swain at local Real Estate Investment firm Swain & Associates has enabled him to learn from the Best. Steve is married to Mt. Airy native Anne Marie Swain and has 2 daughters Sydney, 12 and Megan, 8.
